Description
It pioneered the incorporation of graphene nanofibres into an internal aramid mesh system. This aramid ‘skeleton’ holds the helmet together in the event of a fall and allows for maximum energy absorption and compression within the helmet structure. Its hexagonal design is based on a construction that has been specifically developed to absorb and spread the impact force throughout the helmet. The combination of these technologies has allowed us to create the lightest, most ventilated and safest helmet on the market.
Mixino’s distinctive look makes sense of dual flow technology, which maximises airflow and directs it efficiently across the head, preventing overheating and ensuring the best ventilation performance while on the road. This helmet features an innovative retention system – MPS eVo – which optimises rider comfort thanks to its 4 adjustment possibilities: tightening system, side adjustments, rear adjustment and height adjustment. Developed by Catlike to adapt to any head size, this system guarantees an excellent fit, maximum comfort and protection.
Technical features
Aramid mesh with graphene infusion – offers maximum protection with minimum weight
Most ventilated helmet on the market – 39 ventilation holes
Excellent impact resistance thanks to its hexagonal construction design
Flexible and comfortable fit system
TECHNOLOGIES
In-Mould Construction – Mixino features in-mould construction, a current production technology that makes ultra-light helmets with a high level of firmness and maximum protection.
Aramid Roll Cage – Fibre used for its resistance properties, which increase all mechanical performance.
Dualflow – The Catlike Dual Flow system maximises ventilation: the internal channels provide a constant flow of air inside the helmet, preventing overheating. The Mixino contains 39 ventilation channels throughout the helmet.
Hexagon – The helmet’s air intakes are strategically positioned. In the event of a collision, the energy generated will be spread through the hexagonal structure, significantly increasing head protection.
Graphene – Graphene has great mechanical strength and unique electronic properties. We have therefore found a way to include graphene nanofibres in the construction of helmets to offer maximum head protection at a reduced weight.
Care & maintenance
The helmet should only be cleaned manually with water and a soft cloth. The sponges should be removed from the helmet and cleaned with soap and water. Use a soft cloth to dry the sponges before fitting them inside the helmet. After each use, allow the helmet to air dry and then store it in a cool, dry place where there is no risk of it being damaged.
