MIPS® EVOLVE
MIPS® Evolve is a rotational impact management system designed to reduce forces transmitted to the brain during angular impacts. In many crashes, impacts are not purely linear but involve rotation, which can strain brain tissue. MIPS allows a controlled movement between the helmet and the head—via a Low Friction Layer (LFL), less than 1mm thick—that mimics the brain’s own protective motion inside the skull. This helps absorb rotational energy and reduce the risk of serious brain injury, without compromising comfort, fit, or style.
