Technologies
In-Mould Construction – The Kilauea features in-mould construction, a current production technology that makes helmets ultra-lightweight with a high level of firmness and maximum protection.
Aramid Roll Cage – The use of this material for its resistance properties increases all mechanical performance and improves the energy absorption of each impact.
Dualflow – The Catlike Dual Flow system maximises ventilation: the internal channels provide a constant flow of air inside the helmet, preventing overheating. The Kilauea contains 24 ventilation channels throughout the helmet.
Hexagon – The helmet’s air intakes are strategically positioned. In the event of a collision, the energy generated will be spread through the hexagonal structure, significantly increasing head protection.
Care & maintenance
The helmet should only be cleaned manually with water and a soft cloth. The sponges should be removed from the helmet and cleaned with soap and water. Use a soft cloth to dry the sponges before fitting them inside the helmet. After each use, allow the helmet to air dry and then store it in a cool, dry place where there is no risk of it being damaged.
