It was pioneer to incorporate graphene nanofibers on an internal aramid mesh system. This aramid “skeleton” holds the helmet together in an event of a crash and allows maximum energy absorption and compression strength inside the helmet structure. The Mixino’s hexagon design is based on a honeycomb-type construction that was specifically developed to further absorb and spread the impact force through the entire helmet. The combination of these technologies allowed us to create the best lightweight, ventilated, and safest helmet on the market.
Mixino’s distinctive looks give meaning to the dual flow technology, which maximizes airflow and directs it in an efficient way around your head, avoiding overheating and guaranteeing the best ventilation performance while you are on the road. This helmet features an innovative retention system – MPS eVo that optimizes the comfort of the cyclist due to its 4-point adjustment possibilities: dial system, lateral slide paddings, rear width, and height adjustment. Designed by Catlike to adapt to any head size, this system grants outstanding fitting, maximum comfort, and protection.
Technologies
In-Mold Construction – Our helmets feature an in-mold construction, a current production technology that makes ultra-lightweight helmets with a high level of firmness and maximum protection.
Aramid Roll Cage – Fibre used for its resistance properties, which increase all mechanical performance.
Dualflow – Catlike Dual Flow system maximizes ventilation: the internal channels provide constant airflow inside the helmet, avoiding overheating. The Mixino features 39 ventilation channels throughout the entire helmet.
Hexagon – The air intakes have been strategically positioned so that any impact will affect more than one internal structure. In the event of a crash, the energy generated will be spread through the honeycomb-type structure, significantly increasing the head’s protection.
Graphene – Graphene exhibits great mechanical strength and unique electronic properties. Catlike’s research, development, and innovation department have found a way to include graphene nanofibers in the construction of helmets to offer maximum protection to the head at minimum weight.
Care and Maintenance
The helmet must be hand cleaned only with water and a soft cloth. The comfort paddings should be removed from the helmet and cleaned using only water and mild soap. Use a soft cloth to dry the paddings before mounting them inside the helmet. After each use, allow the helmet to air dry and then store it in a cool and dry place where it won’t get damaged.
