Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions are intended to regulate consumer purchases via this website of CATLIKE brand products. A consumer is a private individual who uses the product they bought from the professional seller exclusively for their own personal use.

The consumer accepts and agrees to these terms and conditions when finalizing their order.

Before finalizing your order, please read these terms and conditions carefully. If you do not agree with them, you must refrain from placing the order.

1. Order

In order to order CATLIKE products on this website, the consumer must have an e-mail account and their browser must be configured to accept cookies and pop-ups, in order to allow all the conditions for navigating the CATLIKE online store.

To place your order, find the product you want to buy and add it to your cart. View the cart or checkout by adding your details and selecting the payment method. Review your order and confirm the details you have added. Click on check-out and proceed to payment.

You will immediately receive an order acceptance e-mail with the order summary and an indication that payment is pending.

You will then receive an order confirmation e-mail, which is generated once payment has been received.

Please note that CATLIKE will only start processing your order once payment has been received.

CATLIKE reserves the right not to accept orders for any reason and the right to cancel any order (even if it has already been accepted), without being liable for any damages or costs, namely in the following cases:

• The product is no longer available/in stock;
• The billing information is not correct or verifiable;
• The transfer for payment of the order has not been received within 5 days of accepting the order;
• If the order makes it appear that the buyer is a reseller;
• In the event of force majeure preventing fulfillment of the order;
• If the order comes from a country other than those defined* or the destination address belongs to a country other than those.

In these cases, if applicable, CATLIKE will notify the consumer of the cancellation of the order and refund the amount paid within a maximum of 30 days.

*Mainland Portugal, mainland Spain, Germany and France

2. Price and payment methods

The prices of the products displayed on the website are quoted in euros and include VAT, under the legal terms of each country from which the consumer places the order.

CATLIKE reserves the right to change the prices shown on the website. The prices in force at the time of purchase are the prices applicable to that purchase.

For payment, the consumer can use the following payment methods:

• MBWAY
• Credit card Visa/Mastercard
• ATM reference

Payments can only be processed if the information to be used for invoicing can be verified.

If CATLIKE has not received any payment 5 days after placing the order, the order will be canceled.

3. Property reservation

CATLIKE reserves ownership of the products until it has received full payment of the corresponding price.

4. Shipping and delivery

The cost of postage is borne by CATLIKE on orders worth more than €30.00 and is therefore free of charge to the consumer.

For orders worth less than €30.00, the shipping costs will be borne by the consumer, with the exact price of the shipping fee calculated according to the weight of the order and the country where the order will be delivered. When placing the order, before check-out, the specific price is displayed, so that the consumer can decide to finalize the order.

The order is delivered between 3 and 5 working days from the date of payment confirmation.

Delivery will take place from Monday to Friday. No deliveries are made on public holidays or weekends. Delivery is made to the address chosen by the consumer, as long as the delivery address is in mainland Portugal, mainland Spain, Germany and France. The consumer must ensure that someone is at the address to receive the package. If this does not happen, you should contact the carrier so that they can agree on a new schedule. A product is deemed to have been delivered when the delivery receipt is signed at the agreed address.

8. Responsibility

CATLIKE shall be liable for damages suffered by the consumer in the event that such damages result from breaches attributable to CATLIKE’s contractual obligations or in the event that CATLIKE’s liability results from applicable statutory law.

CATLIKE cannot be held liable for any damage suffered by the consumer as a result of improper use of our products. Nor can CATLIKE be held liable for damages suffered by third parties as a result of the use of any of our products.

CATLIKE shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the incorrect use of the website and its contents by the user, access to the user’s computer and computer system by third parties, viruses, or any inaccuracy or imperfection of the information on the website, unless such damage is the result of intent on the part of CATLIKE.

In the event of damage resulting from gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of CATLIKE, the limitations set out in this article shall not apply.

9. Industrial Property

CATLIKE is a registered trademark, nationally and internationally, and is the owner of all the industrial and intellectual property rights of the articles it sells. Users may not use the CATLIKE brand and image without prior authorization from CATLIKE. Everything relating to the design, texts, documents, films, music and/or other services of the website, the selection and organization thereof, and other materials on the website, is the property of CATLIKE. The user is not authorized to make any other use of the site or the information and materials contained therein, including reproduction, modification, distribution or republication. If the user wishes to use information or materials from the site, they must obtain prior written authorization from CATLIKE.

10. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are drawn up in accordance with Portuguese law, which shall be the applicable law in the interpretation thereof and in the resolution of any dispute arising therefrom.

11. Changes to terms and conditions

These terms and conditions may be revised and updated, so please revisit them regularly. We last updated them on March 1, 2024.

However, the consumer is subject to the conditions in force on the date of his order, unless the law or competent authority imposes any change to them.
